The Mike Anderson Chevrolet of Ossian Auto Group began in 1980 in Logansport, Indiana. Mike Anderson Chevrolet of Ossian at that time was a young man, had already been involved in his father's dealership which was called Bob Anderson Pontiac and was located in Crown Point, Indiana. Starting out with a Pontiac dealership in Logansport, Anderson over the years grew the dealership and changed the franchises to keep up with the ever changing automotive world - adding Mazda, Oldsmobile, GMC, Chevrolet and Buick - today the very first Mike Anderson Chevrolet of Ossian dealership remains in Logansport as a Chevrolet, Buick, GMC dealership.
In 2000 the group added another Chevrolet point just outside of Fort Wayne, Indiana and purchased the dealership from Bob Bates Chevrolet in Ossian, Indiana. While Ossian is a very small community, this dealership serves as the closest Chevy point to one of Ft Wayne's major employers, General Motors Fort Wayne Truck Assembly Plant.

Scott and Lisa Hinders of Kokomo Won the Mike Anderson Chevrolet of Ossian Auto Group 2015 Winter Wonderland Car Give Away!

LOGANSPORT, INDIANA (May 13, 2015) ? During the final drawing in the Winter Wonderland Campaign to win a new Chevy Sonic, Dodge Dart or $10,000 in cash, the eight finalists were asked to choose one of eight vehicles and try to start the engines. Scott Hinders chose the vehicle that started!
Wednesday, May 13 at 5:30pm was the exciting finale to the four-month Winter Wonderland campaign. Contestants were entered into the drawing by taking a test drive December 2014 through April 2015. The event was held at Mike Anderson Chevrolet of Ossian Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram in Logansport. The eight finalists were chosen from these eight Mike Anderson Chevrolet of Ossian dealerships: Elkhart Used Car Super Center, Gas City Chevrolet, Kokomo Used Car Super Center, Logansport Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, Ossian Chevrolet, and the Logansport, Marion, and Rochester Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep Ram stores.
The finalists from the drawings at each store were: Frank and Christina Winquist, Elkhart; Scott and Lisa Hinders, Gas City; Andy and Jamie Dausch, Kokomo; Steve Clark, Logan GM; Judy and Pinky Spohn, Logan CDJR; Tony and Amy Crisp, Marion; Jose aSund lma Diaz, Ossian; and Sheryl and Scott Bilby, Rochester. The seven people that did not choose the car that started received iPad Minis.
This was the fourth car give away held by Mike Anderson Chevrolet of Ossian Auto Group. The winners of the other car give away campaigns were Amanda Partyka from the Ossian store in the spring of 2012, Faye Smith from Rochester in the fall of 2013, and Tamara Thompson from Marion in the spring of 2014.
